Officially founded by Julie Whales (then Abbs) in April 1994, Julie Abbs Catering delighted a broad range of clients with sumptuous and decadent home-cooked food for Weddings, Drinks Parties, Private Dining and Shoot Lunches.
Now under the direction of her son Tristram, the passion for excellent flavour, home-cooked food and event decadence hasn’t faded in over 20 years. Our skills refined, our team bigger and our expectations set even higher; our aim is to work with our clients to create truly exceptional events and memorable culinary experiences to cherish for a lifetime.

Aside from Weddings, we are proud to cater for some of the regions most prestigious businesses and organisations. We have been honoured in supporting various charities such as the EACH, Big C, and The East Anglian Air Ambulance with charity balls, drinks parties & audiences across the counties. We have also had the pleasure of working with the EDP and Archant on their Norfolk Food & Drink Awards, Business Awards & in house Archant Awards.
We have also been privileged enough to work alongside Houghton Hall, involved in some of their world-class art exhibitions, including James Turrell: Lightscape, Richard Long: Earth Sky and Damien Hirst, Colour Space & Outdoor Sculptures.
